Mr. Bedenbaugh was a dedicated employee of Lexington County School District One for 36 years, faithfully serving as a teacher, elementary and high school principal, and assistant superintendent for personnel and federal programs.

In 2005, due to his longstanding commitment to the district, and him being the last surviving member from the original Lexington One staff of 1952, the Lexington One Educational Foundation leadership established the Joseph M.
