Our Lexington One Educational Foundation will be a part of Midlands Gives on May 1, 2018

May 1, 2018: The Lexington One Educational Foundation will participate in Midlands Gives this year, which will be held on T uesday, May 1, 2018. 

Hosted by Central Carolina Community Foundation, this 24-hour online giving event brings the South Carolina Midlands together as one community to raise money and awareness for local nonprofits in 11 Midlands counties. CCCF is dedicated t o bring awareness to the nonprofit organizations that make our community a vibrant place to live, work and play. Nonprofit organizations play a tremendous role in all of our lives and CCCF is dedicated to supporting the work that they do and Midlands Gives is a terrific w ay to showcase this commitment. 

When an individual donates through Midlands Gives, the nonprofit will receive all of the proceeds minus the transaction fee, which averages to be 4.9% per gift. The minimum donation amount is $20 and there is no maximum. CCCF accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express for credit card gifts and donations via e-checks if the donor provides a bank routing number. 

Midlands Gives donations w ill begin counting towards the local effort on May 1, 2018, at 12:00 am and last through 11:59 pm, Eastern Time. 

Once a donor makes a gift to a local nonprofit via Midlands Gives, Central Carolina Community Foundation willacknowledge and receipt the donation. At the end of the campaign, each participating nonprofit will be notified o f donations and donors who made gifts to their cause.
